Jesús Esparragoza, M.D. is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology. He graduated in 1977 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University Autónoma de Guadalajara, and acquired the title of Surgeon. He conducted his fellowship in Adult Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston. He is also an Interventional Cardiologist.

He was a pioneer in stem cell therapies following approved protocols by COFEPRIS. He, in conjunction with several other doctors, conducted the first heart transplant in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
